ps3 firmware 2.50

sony is releasing a new firmware version 2.50 for the ps3 some time around october 15th. they have finally added a long overdue feature, the auto-shut off. im really waiting for a sleep function, but i guess that will do for now... some of the other features are: "auto shut-down power wireless controllers, high-quality mode for the official bluetooth headset, scene search stills during video playback, and a number of other enhancements"

sysadmin - netmon 3.2 available

for you IT guys/gals out there netmon 3.2 is available now. it's a lot better, wait ... it's actually an "overhaul" compared to the out of the box version 2.x from with windows 2003 or windows 2000. very nice tool for tracing network issues, extremely nice interface and super easy to use filters.
